The new home: Part V

Big Sandy delivers the washer, dryer, dishwasher, and freezer.

The new home: Part IV

Dad works on a platform for the new washer and dryer.

I am signing my contract for my new job as Program Director at the Marshall CTC.

Dad changes the outlets to three-pronged ones.

Leigh-Ann decides to quilt in the midst of everything else.

Clif Adkins comes to visit and have Black Angus cheesburgers with us.

Burgers and Dogs . . .

The next day, dad comes for the same - Black Angus burgers are a real hit!

Love my daddy! XOXOXO

Dad installs new shelves in the "office".

The new home: Part III

We get cable and internet installed.
The Deer through the kitchen window.

It's so nice to eat breakfast with the deer in the mornings!

Notice the cereal on top of the car. The squirrels and birds really appreciate it.

The kitchen is starting to look like a kitchen.

My dad, the handy man, helps with repairs and installations.

The new home: Part II

The living room picture window at night . . . we can sit and look out at the trees and the moon. This is our sanctuary.

My first night's sleep in the new house. I slept in the guest bedroom.

Th picture window by day . . .

The basement before everything got put away.

Our first rain . . . the view from the front door.

The new home: Part I

When I pulled in to check out the house, I knew in my heart it was the perfect home for us.

This is my little Corolla in the car port.

Just checking out the back yard. We plan to have a hot tub put in this winter.

Moving Day . . . the moving crew. Jerry, Josh, Carla, Pam, Dad, etc.

The moving crew eats orange dream pops on their breaks.

We ordered Frost Top hotdogs and rootbeer for lunch.

The kitchen is full of boxes, and you want me to cook dinner?!?!

No, dear, I will order pizza tonight. Our first night's dinner was from Rocky Top's Pizza . . . double cheese, and double baked - that's the way we like it. Delicious!
